My Victory (We Sing The Praise)

The earth stood still as darkness fell

My eyeʼs could not behold the scene

Heavenʼs prize Godʼs only Son

Was nailed to a tree

All my guilt upon Him lay

For without fault he took my place

Mocked despised yet there he stayed

To win my victory

We sing the praise

Of the One who saves

We praise the name of Jesus

How glorious; How wonderful

Is the One who saves us

He suffered for the sake of love

Who can comprehend the cost

A love so deep it conquered death

And made a way for us

Oh to think he thought of me

Bleeding there at Calvary

Bearing my regrets and shame

Now lost in unending grace

Rose from death He overcame

Now in victory He reigns

Where at last all eyes will see

Christ the risen King
