I know the enemy's hating, but my God is Amazing

My Protector, my Defender, my Leader paving The Way of

Victory

Even though the battle has been making its way

Shows up at my doorstep

Holding my ground, advancing fast against the darkness

Holy Ground, is found when I walk in His Presence

Pray without ceasing, fighting demons, double-edged weapon

Started off when I lost my momma

Then I lost my sister too

Every family member I once had as a kid

Had been removed

So it wasn't too long before I

Saw my behavior slip in two

Was hurt inside so I turned to vices and addictions grew

My legs are faltering O Lord I need you to intervene

The only thing I've really been trusting in is what's seen

Grant this heart repentance

So for all of my sins, I'm clean

Help me to remember who I am

A child of the Risen King

That has been redeemed

So all the victory I'm seeing, not a real shocker
