A flower waited for the clouds to clear

Shame it spent its young years stalling its bloom

And sadly I never took heed of the warning

When I sat one lonely spring morning

And heard my friends outside

For a day to reminisce on, before I miss it

I just hope that I don't dismiss it

Now the glow of youth is fading

All my friends they are trading their cycles for cars

And as I become well acquainted with regret
