Under the hum of a world redesigned

AI replaced what we once called mine

Dreams redefined by machine-made design

A world overwritten, no warning, no sign

I screamed through the screen for a voice to reply

But the silence just stared with a synthetic eye

Now there's a synthetic divide

Between the code and the soul we can't hide

We lit the path with a ghost inside

But left our hearts in the dark to hide

Can we stand on the edge and decide

Or fall through the synthetic divide

Eyes that don't blink and minds that don't sleep

Rewrite our history, bury it deep

Hearts in the cloud, emotions denied

Human or program, which one survives
