I was so dirty but He made me clean

The blood of Jesus took my stains away

And I never thought that He would forgive the things that I did

But He made a way

My sin made me filthy, I was guilty

But He took my shame away

I felt like I ran out of hope, so I would just smoke

I tried smoking the pain away

I was so young when my pops got locked

Had so much pain 'cause I ain't have my pops

I used to gamble and gambled a lot

Tried to find purpose trappin' on the block

I used to smoke, and boy, I couldn't stop

If I was still trappin' right now, I'd be locked

I was in love with the money, was chasin' the guap

Used to take drugs but depression ain't stop

I really turned from Him and turned to sin

And I did a lot of it

I was addicted to gambling, I couldn't handle it

I was so tired of it

I had so much guilt and shame

'Cause all of my sin left stains and I was just hidin' it

I never thought I'd get out of it

I did some things I ain't proud of it

But Jesus came and broke my chains

He broke my chains and He set me free

Every day the same thing, I was stuck up in a maze

Then I called His name and He came to me

It's crazy how they say they see a change in me

When He came to me, He started changin' me

And I gave my life to my Lord and my Savior

'Cause I know that God got a plan for me
