The Great Fine

While pressing these piano keys, the melody escapes from me

And all I've got are sorry tunes, so many nights in lonely rooms

Let's sing a different song instead, the one that's always in your head

Just like a broken record track, replaying that same feeling back

Another note falls to the ground, the one she wrote when she left town

I've memorized that song quite well, but when I play it hurts like hell
