I know what it means to feel empty

And to feel like I've got nothing to give

Then God picks me up and pours me

into others

That's what it is to live

I know what it means to wander

Afraid that I'm losing my way

Then turning around I see others behind me

And find I've been leading the way

Feeling my way through this darkness

Afraid I might fall on my face
