When the crescent rises in the quiet sky
Hearts slow down
And the soul begins to breathe again
Ramadan
From sunrise to sunset, I'm holding my hunger
Not just my body — but my anger and thunder
No food, no drink, no pride, no lies
Lower my gaze, purify my eyes
No gossip talk, no curse from my tongue
No hidden hatred to anyone
This is discipline, deeper than pain
Spiritual cleansing running through my veins
Hindi lang ito basta gutom
It's the soul that's learning to bloom
Through patience — sabr — I stand still
Submitting my heart to a higher will
Every thirst is a reminder
Every silence makes me kinder
In this month of mercy and light
Heaven feels closer every night
Ramadan — Moon of Mercy
Where forgiveness flows so freely
From suhoor before the dawn
Till the call of iftar comes
Laylatul Qadr in the sky
Better than a thousand nights passing by
With faith, with barakat in my way
I bow, I pray, I change today
Taraweeh prayers in the dark
Every ayah leaves a mark
Tears falling on the ground
That's where true peace is found
Zakat given, hands that share
Feeding hope through humble care
Charity louder than any fame
Purifying wealth in Allah's name
Kapag narinig ang Adhan
First sip of water — parang ulan
Sweet like mercy on my tongue
Grateful for the day that's done
Fighting ego, killing sin
Real jihad is found within
Seeking peace — kapamagawida
Let my heart grow even wider
If I hurt you, let me say sorry
If I failed, rewrite my story
In this month I realign
Body, spirit, heart, and mind
Ramadan is more than fasting
It's a love that's everlasting
Ramadan — sacred flame
Purifying every name
From hunger comes a higher call
To rise, to stand, to never fall
Moon of Mercy shining bright
Guiding souls back to the light
Sa puso ko, may pagbabago
A new beginning starts tomorrow
When the crescent fades away
Let the light inside me stay
Ramadan
