I've learned a truth
That I now share
Profess the Word
Of one who cares
He'll lift you up
And lift you out
From darkest fears
And deepest doubt
He'll hold you close

Our Saviors love
Is given free
Free for all
To all who hears
Bring all your sins
Pain, sorrow and tears
His life not spared (but for awhile)
A gift He gave (for man and child)
From death He rose (for three days long)
His love for us continues strong!
He paid the price (of His free will)
The cost of sin, He paid our bill
For us it may be
Hard to see
The suffering He bore
For you and me
And then not wish
He suffered such
For One who cared
And loved us much
To not of had to drink the cup
The cup once placed before Him
The cup filled with betrayal and pain
And on His back, our sin was lain
But if not for this one great act
To suffer through His passion
To bow down to His Father's will
The way that He had fashioned
We would not know such joy and peace
Our sins, no longer seen
If Jesus had not died for us
Our souls at last redeemed!

But for Your love, we are redeemed
