Daddy goes to work each day
Mommy yells, ho-ho-hooray
She says, I'll open up my door real wide
Cause that's how Santa slides inside
Santa shows up right on the dot
He's got a big sack
And it makes the girls plot
And even when Mom's still in bed
He brings his package to her head
They giggle loud by the Christmas tree
Then rustle and shake so merrily
She tells me it's just holiday cheer
But it sounds wilder than a reindeer
He ho-ho-ho's
She squeals, oh yes
I hear him wiggle his sack
Oh, jeez
One time she cried out, harder please
I think they're wrestling on their knees
One morning he skipped our place
Mommy sighed and hid her face
My friend said, he's still on his route
Delivering cheer into every chute
He knocks on Mrs. Baker's front door
But she prefers the back much more
Says, the front door is just for show
The back door's where he slides in slow
At Miss Taylor's place, he knows the spot
He slides in his sack, giving it all he's got
She squeals and yells, oh that's my style
He lingers a while to go the extra mile
He unpacks his sack in every street
Sliding in stockings, stuffing them deep
He fills every nook with holiday flair
Leaves the neighbors gasping for air
My friend says, he's got a giant sack
He unloads slow and fills each crack
He dives in deep, then pulls it out
Makes every lady scream and shout
Daddy's gone and works real far
But Santa's here to raise the bar
Mommy grins when Santa comes back
She melts each time he drops his pack
When I'm big
I want to be Santa Clause
Bringing joy to all
With my big sack in hand
