It always came to whether or not

I was up before even the sun

I would watch it as it showed its face

What I'd pay to retrace my memories

The neighborhood was just standing alone

'Till I made friends and went to their home

I don't remember much but let's just say

We were friends 'till I moved away

I would throw myself into a well
