Tiny Desk
Might I get blessed?
You take the time to find the best
So here's my shot
It's what I've got
And it's a lottery I know
But like water these songs flow
So here it goes
Tiny Desk
I must confess
Your works sublime and I'm impressed
Amidst the noise
And broken toys
The well 's been poisoned, we had feared
But you gave a choice and now it's clear
That we still hear
On a tiny island
Far away
In an tiny house at end of day
There's a tiny room
And when the shiny moon
Comes through
You see a tiny desk so you,
Ya take a seat
And you lay a beat
And though you're many miles
From city's daytime trials
The whole world somehow hears
Some 18 billion ears
Reading whispers just as clear
As a bell,
So you say "oh well"
And you give 'em hell
Tiny desk
You might have guessed
I put to song what's on my chest
It's hard as rock
In a world of awe and shock
To be heard talking quietly
Backed by a walking melody
So I beg of thee
And I guess we'll see
Tiny desk,
Some day I'll rest
But the path is long, and I'm on my quest
So here's a prayer
For anybody out there
Though you might barely know my name
Maybe you'll share me all the same
And I'll keep playing
And I'll keep playing
And I'll keep playing
