It sounds quite authentic, and Jack was telling me not too long ago
That he used to play Scottish country music
So perhaps the melody harks back to those days
In fact, Jack's quite experienced in lots of musical forms
He's played traditional jazz, rock music, Scottish country music
And also modern jazz
But this next one is a heavily disguised 12-bar
It's-, again, a Bruce Brown composition
And it's called "A Letter of Thanks"
