I made a choice the other day, a tiny choice to see
I didn't think that much of it, and so I set it free
I never thought it mattered, it really was so small
I didn't think, that it would have a consequence at all
The wind, it took a hold of it, and blew it far and wide
And soon I saw it disappear, no longer by my side
I forgot that I had done it, and went on with life's routine
The tiny choice that I had made, had vanished from the scene
Like the wind through an abandoned house, my choice went everywhere
It penetrated every crack that would admit the air
It went up and down and all around, and then came back again
It covered me from head to toe, like a shirt in freezing rain
It chilled me so I nearly died, it really frightened me
The choice was now a consequence that nearly ended me
Beware of choices that we make, they never are that small
Especially the tiny ones, the ones we can't recall
Beware of choices that we make, they never are that small
Especially the tiny ones, the ones we can't recall
Beware of choices that we make, they never are that small
