This morning I woke up and your back paws were on mine

I thought is this a white flag?

Is this a sign?

I almost moved closer to take a cat nap

But I know where that road goes because I've seen the map

I'll remember I miss you

The you that you used to be

Then we're back to old habits

I give my heart and you stab it

Will this go on the rest of my life?

I should end this soon 'Cause I don't wanna spoon

But right now I just need to get in my Chevy
