The terrestrial tortoise, he eats the greens and the fruit,
With legs like tree stumps, you can't challenge his root.
In the water, the sea turtle glidin' with grace,
Migration game strong, across the wide ocean space.
Leatherback massive, cruisin' with the jellyfish flow,
Keepin' ecosystems balanced, watchin' the currents go.

My whole life is a lesson in patience and peace,
Longevity champion, my life span won't cease.

Snapper in the marsh, you best move out his way,
That prehistoric look, he ain't got time to play.
Layin' eggs in the sand, a beautiful, natural sight,
Hatchlings emerge, lookin' for the moonlight.
From a tiny little ping-pong ball size, so small,
To a hardened reptile, standin' ten feet tall-well, almost,
But I make my impact felt, even with the slow pace,
Ectothermic rhythm, puttin' time in its place.
So next time you're rushin', just remember my creed,
