Mother Nature

I stand and watch the water

Swollen reflection of myself

Aching to make things matter

Aching to make things right

A wicked wind stirs up the trees

It's hard to believe

That the elements have shown us all they've got

So I know it's sometimes crazy

But I'm doing the best that I can

And mother nature's yearning

Will carry me 'cross this land

I swear when I woke this morning

A mountain called my name

As soon as I started climbing

I began to feel at one again

Teeming with an energy

I need to believe

There's a reason that we all have to breathe

All the creatures seeking warmth
