Try to close your eyes my child i see

Something is bothering you and now me

So i do not sleep

And as i see you drift away quietly out i creep

One eye held open all weighted with care

All of your dreams turning into nightmares

So i do not sleep

And as you toss and turn all night

My dreams don't get a peep

Years on another now welcomes you home

Sleeping each day and night soundly she's shown

But you still can't sleep

And as you see her waking up
