Morning comes so early through the window of my dream

Awakes me to another day

I walk the canyon and I sit down by the stream

To contemplate the world I see

It could be wrong but it sure seems just right to me

This moment is the place to be

The world goes by so fast it spins my head around

So I walk down into town

The sun is shining now upon the mountain hillside

The air so pure it rescues me

I take a moment to reflect upon my blessings

And just how much they mean to me

Go to the cafe and I get a bite to eat

Try to see what's going down

The wheels are spinning in the darkness of this town

I sip a beer and wonder why

I listen closely to the sound between the beats

As they pitch pennies in the street

The local guru tries to sink his claws in me

He doesn't know that I can see

Well I don't know where he's coming from and I don't really care

Just sitting by the side of the road well I don't need a ride
