Lockdown is the first track I wrote for Isolated
And it was written really in that first week of lockdown in March of 2020
This track in general is so important because it introduces the whole album
It introduces not only melodic themes that you hear in this
That later get recapitulated later, but on top of it
It introduces the sound of this record, which
It's more vast and more cinematic than anything I've ever done
And without lockdown, truthfully, the rest of this record wouldn't exist
Lockdown really does introduce the whole sound of Isolated
And the whole theme of it, I mean, it's all acoustic instrumentation
But, it's very heavy, it's very distorted
And this one started, of course, really on the piano
And then later I bought an for a different project
So, that made its way quite a bit into this album
As well as the cello and lots of guitars
And drums and all the fun stuff
