Reasons

I've been warmed by your smile at the end of a weary day

And I've been calmed by the peaceful way you pray for me

And now I know in a deeper way what they mean when they say

That I can't live without you

These are but a few of the reasons I love you

And I've been saved by your faith in me when I had none of my own

And I've been humbled by your trust even when I was wrong

And now I wish that I could be worthy of your love for me

But I'll gladly spend my life giving to you your very own reasons to love me too

When the days grow into years

And we've shared our smiles and our tears

And after time and commitment have turned our sorrows back into joy

Then we'll see what the Lord has done

Entwined our spirits into one

And then we'll finally realize
