A throne of gold, A royal crest,
An ermine draped across my breast.
My oath was sworn, my anthems played
All who draw breath are my prey
Their kings wore pearls, their queens wore rings
But I won't wear such gaudy things.
My hollow helm, my silence deep
The kind no sovereign dares to keep.
This is the reign of the faceless shade,
Where fear is law and debts are paid.
My lantern raised, my subjects sworn
The widows weep where kings are torn.
Their banners rot, church bells decay
Still I remain. I won't be swayed.
A crown of absence, sharp and black
I break the world that called me back.
Their painted portraits, now framed in fire,
Showed men who ruled through blood-filled ire.
They crowned themselves with stolen names
Now I - the headless one - end their games.
No heirs shall rise, no children beared,
I savor the empire's rotting air.
My rule is carved through ash and flame
I wear no crown… and yet I reign.
My court is flame! My crown is void!
No titles left! Bloodlines destroyed!
No titles left! Bloodlines destroyed!
This is the reign of the faceless shade,
Where fear is law and debts are paid.
My lantern raised, my subjects sworn
The widows weep where kings are torn.
Their banners rot, church bells decay
Still I remain. I won't be swayed.
A crown of absence, sharp and black
I break the world that called me back.
