Hot or cold, choose your side, don't fold,
Lukewarm faith gonna cost your soul.
Can't play both, nah, the Word's too bold,
It's life or death - truth been told.
Revelation three sixteen, let it ring,
God said spit out the lukewarm king.
You ain't hot with the fire, you ain't cold with the truth,
You sittin' on the fence, man, you playin' the youth.
Matthew six twenty-four, yeah, the line is drawn,
"No man serve two masters" - one's gotta be gone.
Either ride for the Lord or the world you chase,
But you can't play both - that's a lost man's place.
Hot or cold, choose your side, don't fold,
Lukewarm faith gonna cost your soul.
Can't play both, nah, the Word's too bold,
It's life or death - truth been told.
James one eight, yeah, the double-minded fall,
Tossed in the wind, can't stand at all.
One foot in the church, one foot in the street,
But the cross takes it all, can't split that seat.
First John two fifteen, don't love this world,
Or the things it offers, they fade, they curl.
Set your heart on Christ, let the Spirit inflame,
Don't water down the truth, don't play that game.
Second Timothy three, yeah, the times are near,
People love pleasure more than God they fear.
Actin' like holy but deny His power,
Sunday smile fades by Monday hour.
So I call it out raw, no sugar, no gloss,
Pick up your cross or get lost in the loss.
This ain't hate, it's a holy warnin',
Choose your side, night fades to mornin'.
Joshua twenty-four, twenty-five in the scroll,
"Choose this day who gon' save your soul."
As for me and my house, we gon' serve the Lord,
No halfway faith, just a two-edged sword.
Hot or cold, choose your side, don't fold,
Lukewarm faith gonna cost your soul.
Can't play both, nah, the Word's too bold,
It's life or death - truth been told.
