When I started on my journey I was a lost and lonely soul

Didn't know who I was or where I wanted to go

I felt an emptiness inside of me; I could never seem to fill

There was a longing in my heart

That the world just couldn't heal

Now people use to tell me that I could do it on my own

Every time I tried it I found myself alone

So I went to my neighbor and I said neighbor I need your help

He said I can't help you my brother

because I'm looking for help myself

But then one day I heard Him knocking at my door

When my heart I opened, I knew it was the Lord

He told me that He loved me He gave me peace within

He forgave my transgressions and then He cleanse my heart from sin
