Look upon the earthbound tree, succumbing to the breeze
Feel the pain that comes with every falling leaf
c lesson in futility a fool's mind can't conceive
For when at last the leaves are gone the tree no longer
But falls to earth because it can no longer stand the winds
Natures course holds no remorse or roots, securely bound
c tree displaced is soon erased and fades into the ground

Take extremes to live your dreams, cherish each new day
Roots are fears, wasting years as life goes rushing by
Why should you bend with the wind...
