I've read in the Bible of a caring and a sharing stranger
Who gave His disciples salvation at the old-fashioned altar
The hem of His garment was touched by a woman and she made whole
I am thankful that I have been touched by the same stranger
The leper was cleansed of his disease in
The river of Jordan (River of Jordan)
Many sick have been healed, even blind restored their vision
Folks facing problems did not delay
They all bowed their heads in prayer
And was touched by Christ Jesus, the wonderful stranger, oh
Had it not been for Jesus the stranger
I would be lost in sin, deeply lost in sin
Had it not been that He gave His life for me
I would have no peace within
