This is the story of
Ramesh and Leela
The children of an old farmer and his wife
The farmer works hard and saves
Everything to left for his children
When he dies
Leela was the one who did everything
She cooks, cleans, and goes to the fields
Took care of the goats and the cattle
Goes to the market and sells the vegetables
She does it all for her parents
Ramesh was lazy and sat all day playing Red Dead Redemption on a PlayStation 5
His parents bought it for him
For Christmas
Then he would go and Lime with his friends
Smoking weed and drinking at the rum shop
His friends knew his father had his savings for their future
So, they told Ramesh, why wait for the money?
You are the last son, everything should be yours
Get the money, let us run away far, and enjoy it now
And encourage Ramesh to steal it
Ramesh stole the family inheritance
And he leaves a note saying
It belongs to him, the last son
And he is going to live his life and
Will not waste it on the farm
His parent were heartbroken
And Leela was left with no money
For her inheritance
She now had to continue doing everything and save all over again
Ramesh went with his friends, and they rented a house in Port of Spain. Every night, they party with women and drink without a care in the world
He thought this was the life
And he was enjoying every minute of it
But money does not last forever, and when money is gone, so are friends

The landlord kicked him out on the street
He now sits in front of a rum shop
Hungry with nothing to eat
He saw a dog eating out of the trash
And he longs for that piece of bread to eat
Then he realizes how happy he was at home
Just sitting all day and getting food
And everything from his parents
He started to cry
And wanted to go home, but he knew
