I was no one, of name or fame A handmaid unknown, yet heaven came

I thought of Eve and Sarah's prayer Of Hannah's tears, I felt them there

A virgin's womb, a holy sign Salvation's seed, the Son divine

My soul doth magnify the Lord And my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour
