We all know we won't - but we type "Yes, whenever!"
It's tradition now
We play pretend
Like we're still who we were back then.
And I don't blame anybody
Life just got heavy
But sometimes I miss back when
We meant what we said.

Like we haven't drifted this past year and a half

Yeah, we do. We just don't talk about it a lot.

Than ask how you're really doing, honestly.
