What if my mind
Is blind?
Thoughts like sand pass
In an hourglass
My only choice
Is to listen to its noise
But if I could press
Minus
On its volume panels
Would I hear the songs of elves?
Or cries of demons from their cells?
Whispers of a loving God
Or the snoring of my guard?
Who am I in this world-net
Woven by my spider-mind?
A trapped demon forced to forget
Or a lost child of light?
My mind never rests
Building its nets
Tying its threads
Fear with pride
Strongly tied
What if my brain
Is not sane
Just a tool meant to restrain
With pain?
It only works
As electroshocks
Every thought is
A caught hiss
Received from where it is
From somewhere out of here
Imitation of being aware!
Whispers of the divine
Or Satan online
Who am I in this world-net
A prey forced to kneel?
A clueless marionette?
Or a soul bandaged to heal?
'Cause a healed soul gets
How to cut nets
And break threads
Love and hope
Will always unrope
