They watched Him as He climbed the hill

Carrying a heavy cross

The soldiers came and drove the nails

And said, "Your King of kings has lost"

It looked like all hope was gone

The truth is it had only just begun

They put Him in a dead man's tomb

Sealed it up and said, "It's done"

It seemed the Savior's plans were doomed

How could this really be God's Son?
