I went down to the picture show
Met a friend of a friend who was free that night
Told her that it was my first time
She took my hand and said "It will be alright"
We took our seats as the room got full
Looking 'round saying "hi" to friends she knew
Then the lights started to go down
Silhouettes started dancing in my view
When it was over, we went outside
I clumsily took her hand in mine
I felt a rush then to kiss her there
Thinking that it was the right time
She turned her head and said, "Let's take it slow"
And meet again at the late night picture show
