I remember back to days when we were all so young
We used to laugh and cut up, looking back now it seems so dumb
My cousins and I would sit and cool our feet

Grabbing for the last spoon turned into one hell of a fight
So, I sit here thinking about those times with a smile on my face

Well, it's been several years, and I've become a man
Just raisin' a family.. the best way I can
My cousins and me don't see each other that much now
But we still gather together for reunions in Morgantown
Life keeps moving on.. but I still remember this here lesson

On Saturday night we go cruisin' to town, with little brother, my cousin, and me
We circled Oasis and then back to the places where we thought all of the girls would be
Blasting out our old rock, so that we'd be heard and seen
By some of them hotties hangin' out at the Dairy Queen
Now I've settled down now and things are easy to see
So here's my lesson friend won't ya listen to me
