A Few Broken Bones

Walking the longest mile I've ever been in these shoes

Takes its toll after a while, and it becomes harder to know what to do

I'm breathing in a smile that's fading away with the truth

Seems I've been on trial as these scars appear to prove

So, I take in everything I can

All I'm finding is a boy lost in a man

Aimlessly, I wonder this life all alone

Unable to find a place to call my home

My body's bruised from the world throwing stones
