Blood spilled on Sunday
It's nothing new, not today
This week is like the last one
So this month remains the same
Do you feel like you're in control?
Or are you a pawn in someone else's game?
The sky still remains blue
Beyond the clouds the stars shine
Millions of them are already dead
And there are millions more to die
Stare at the vast expanse
And witness those lights of old
Celestial bodies that are now nothing but dark cold
From eons ago and eons to come, the stars have bled
This is nature's cruel reality, there's no life without death
Look up to the night sky
And stare at the past
The shining lights of yore
Comes to die at last
We are just a grain of sand
A suspended piece of land
Small in comparison
To the vast expanse
There's too much to discover
And not enough time
Humanity will cease to exist
And I really don't mind
We are looking through a giant glass
Taking glimpses of a past
Trying to learn how it all starts
And put it all to rest
How this universe came to be
Is it all we see reality?
How can I trust in everything I hear and feel?
How do I know that everything around me is real?
Look up to the night sky
And stare at the past
The shining lights of yore
Comes to die at last
We are just a grain of sand
A suspended piece of land
Small in comparison
To the vast expanse
We don't know anything at all, life is just a theory
We live until we fall, so don't you be so dreary
Just like a star, everyone will eventually fade
Everything is temporary, so just enjoy the shade
Look up to the night sky
And stare at the past
The shining lights of yore
Comes to die at last
We are just a grain of sand
A suspended piece of land
Small in comparison
To the vast expanse
Look up to the night sky
And stare at the past
The shining lights of yore
Comes to die at last
We are just a grain of sand
A suspended piece of land
Small in comparison
To the vast expanse
Look up to the night sky
And stare at the past
The shining lights of yore
Comes to die at last
We are just a grain of sand
A suspended piece of land
Small in comparison
To the vast expanse
Look up to the night sky
And stare at the past
The shining lights of yore
Comes to die at last
We are just a grain of sand
A suspended piece of land
Small in comparison
To the vast expanse
