We were left in houses
Not right for life
We were let down by
Those who gave us light
I shouldn't have to be the one
To turn my blood to electrolytes
But as I look to see
All of these marks that cover me
It's just too much to feel
Maybe this just needs a thousand years
To heal
So I dance in the streets
All day and night
I set cars on fire
Churches light
They go down, down, down, down, down
Spill on the streets their rabid mice
Then they lean over and grab me tight
And these lives just aren't worth the fight
Won't betray my actions just for life
I just sleep in stone blankets
Happy rites
