Yo
Sometimes the hood feel like the tombs, right?
Chains, pain, and everybody screamin' out for somethin'
But when the Light steps off the boat —
Even the demons gotta take a knee
He livin' by the graveyard, wild scars, chains broke
Neighbors whisper ghost stories ‘bout the man that never spoke
Nights full of echoes, cryin' out, cuttin' his flesh
Haunted by his trauma, demons makin' a nest
A thousand voices in his skull like a radio glitch
Legion in his system, playin' politics
But the Son crossed the lake, through a storm and the rain
Like, "I'm here for that one," while the rest stayed in pain
He step off the boat, feet hit the dirt
Whole gang of spirits panic, "Please don't send us to the hurt!"
They beggin' for them pigs, and the pigs went berserk
Ran straight off the cliff — self—slaughtered by the curse
And the man just froze, eyes clear, soul clean
No more nightmares, no more evil regime
He said, "Let me ride with You," but Jesus gave a new dream:
"Go home, tell the block how the Lord set you free."
From the tombs to the town, chains broke underground
When the Savior comes around, every demon gotta bow down
Yeah, He crossed through the waves, just to show me grace
From the madness and the grave — I was lost, now I'm saved
Twelve years, twelve tears, and a system that ain't care
Doctors took her money, left her broke and in despair
Society said "unclean," so she hide in the crowd
But faith whispered quiet while the flesh screamed loud
"If I could just touch the hem of His robe
Maybe I could break the sickness that's stole my soul."
She pressed through the people, elbows and doubt
Touched the fringe of His garment — healing poured out
Jesus stopped mid—step, said, "Who touched Me now?"
Disciples look confused, "Bruh, this whole crowd."
But He felt that faith pull power like current
Virtue left His frame, and the woman stood earnin'
She confessed every pain she endured in the dirt
He said, "Daughter, your faith healed you — go in peace, not hurt."
From the tombs to the town, chains broke underground
When the Savior comes around, every demon gotta bow down
Yeah, He crossed through the waves, just to show me grace
From the madness and the grave — I was lost, now I'm saved
Meanwhile, a leader named Jairus hit his knees in the street
"My baby dyin', please Lord, come to my suite."
But while Jesus moved slow ‘cause the crowd pressed close
Word came from the house: "She's gone let it go."
Fear filled the air like sirens and static
But Christ said, "Don't fear — have faith, that's automatic."
He rolled up with Peter, James, and John in the zone
Everybody cryin' loud, He said, "She ain't gone, just gone home."
They laughed in His face, disbelief in the tone
So He kicked out the noise and walked in alone
Held her by the hand, said, "Talitha koum,"
Little girl sat up, life filled the room
Parents started cryin', neighbors in shock
‘Cause death checked out when the Savior knocked
Yo, He touched the tombs, touched the tears, touched the time
Touched the pain, the shame, the fear in our minds
That's three different stories, but one same theme —
Redemption hit the block where the hopeless dream
Whether Legion or bleeding, or breathin' your last
Faith still the bridge that the storm can't crash
He crossed the sea for one man, stopped for one touch
Raised one child — that's how much He love us
Sometimes He'll cross your chaos just to reach your shore
The demons scream, the doctors fail, the mourners wail —
But He still walks through it all
