Shadows of My Brother

I walk through ashes of the man I used to know

The fire took your body but it couldn't take the soul

Your voice still lingers in the quiet of the night

A memory in armor swallowed by the fight

I reach for you in silence where the Force still softly cries

But every time I face the darkness

I still see my brother in your eyes

Shadows of my brother haunting every step I take

A bond that broke in fire but a heart that couldn't break

I stand against the darkness though it tears me from inside

Even now through all the torment

The galaxy is bleeding from the choices that you made

But I remember laughter underneath the Jedi shade

A hero turned to nightmare a hope consumed by flame

But even now I whisper your forgotten name

The Force is filled with echoes of the past I can't deny
