Love Poem
This testament of love is victory of love
It suffers torment, and overcomes despair
It turns to music, and finds its verse
For all to know the magic love forever
This history of love is called the legend
It is an ancient mystery that comes alive
The victory of love shall overcome the ages
Orpheus and Eurydice win blessing from on high
The Lord of Darkness, gloomy dead souls’ master
He longs to love but shows his angry passion
Though love when it is enslaved is failure and disaster
To Orpheus Eurydice remains forever faithful
Dark Lord held her a prisoner in Kingdom of the dead
His Voice within cries out and prays to let her go
But never listens Knight to inner God, instead
He revels in own demons and their dire songs
Life sometimes looks like awful hopeless hell
You don’t give up, live never saying never
Then go the way of love and Angels will always help
While within all of us:
Orpheus and Eurydice forever
Light Angel cares for her and shares uplifting words
Light Angel breathes her hope and lands a helping wing
Eurydice strains to hear through howls, screams and moans
Her Orpheus comes singing their song they used to sing
Orpheus goes down to lifeless underworld
His magic voice pours down from broad daylight above
And every step he makes he flies like singing bird
And lightens up the life and leads the way of love
