Another great day to be grateful that I'm still alive

I did some things in my past I wouldn't glorify

I let the anger and the hate control my stupid pride

But when I started losing faith I chose to go to God

And then I got a clearer mindset

I was living on the edge thinking how I ain't die yet

Used to cause a riot, strike me if I'm lying

Couldn't smoke the pain away with all the weed I'm buying

I got some things I need to say

Admitting I've been sinning is the hardest thing to pray, about

I don't know if I'll ever make it out

Maybe if I'm quiet I won't have to sell the loud

Who knows, I ask God to break me

Even if it means He gotta take me

Wake me up, who knows

I got a bully on my side, who gon' ride if you think about trying me

Ain't talking bout no blue nose

The streets calling, I keep hanging up

They only love you at your prime, not when your fame is up

You're not the same as us, just plain lame and sus

If you want a real shot I guess you gotta aim at us

God hope you don't think that I'm a bluff

Cause all I do is pray when I know that ain't enough

I learned sadly half my pain is cause of lust

Can't force a different human being to adjust

I know I struggle with the battles that you give me

I used to walk around strapped with the fivexeight

I was able to do tracks cause my mind just raced

Since I started following my heart my life been straight

Times I almost gave up was the devil trying to stop me

Got tired of being used

Studying the scriptures but I'm still a bit confused
