Now I heard they got the biggest alligators down them Alabama Bayou
So I feel I'd go down there and check out whether that's really true
Now I knew I wouldn't find one single gator there all by myself
But if only I'd be getting down there
I'd probably rustle me up some kind of adequate help
So I'd come across this kind of a redneck looking place
And outside there sat an old man
With a serious look chased face
His strucking chair was squeaking along with a worn down fan
And an overhead sign on the wooden porch read the Ku Klux Klan
So I'd got out of the car went up a' one of 'em and said
Well that's quite a statement you got there by the door
I thought you folks couldn't be seen actually 'round here anymore
Then he said hell, boy, I can tell you'd got no idea who I am
I'm the grandson of the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan
So you'd better watch your stick
Oh, I'm kinda colorblind myself if you know what I mean
But I ain't here to vex you or make some kinda big scene
All I sayin' is it ain't fair to tell quality
From the skin color of a man
But I'm sure you'll disagree since you're with them Ku Klux Klan
Now won't ya
Some damn Yankees smiles and'll just head back up north
After you buy yourselves the alligator belt buckles
And leave us good, country folk alone
True Americans
