So are ready to lay down it all
Jesus said to follow Him, you must forsake all
You cannot follow Christ half way
You must count the cost of what it means to be a true disciple
Jesus said, if any man come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me
It means laying down your life, your desires, your dreams
It means forsaking the world and your sin
It means laying down your life and doing the will of the Father
But when we are crucified with Him, He promises to live in us and through us
The gospel of Jesus Christ is simply this
that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures
When Jesus preached He said, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand
God warned us because He loves us and knows that our sin will destroy us
This is eternal life
to know the only true God and Jesus Christ His son whom He sent
We do this by wholeheartedly believing that
Jesus is the Son of God, our Savior and the only way to the Father
So pray with us
Father God, in the name of Jesus
I come to You today
I realize I'm a sinner and have offended a holy God
But today I repent of my sins
I give You my life
And I lay it down to serve You, Lord
No matter what the cost
You promised to never leave me nor forsake me
Jesus is the only sacrifice that can take away my sins
And the blood He shed on the cross cleanses me from all unrighteousness
I thank You for granting me repentance, God
I receive the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus
I promise to follow You and Your word for the rest of my life
