Packed up essential belongings in search of the city
Brought along a pencil and paper in case I think of something witty
Put my belongings on a train going south to LA
And now I have 30 hours just to wait

Woke up this morning at 6:45
Early enough just to see the sun rise
Across the valley and into the hills
