I've seen
As a kid to a older man the American dream
Come and go and we suffered some in hurricanes and snows
And the wars never seemed to let us go
We bow
Our heads and we clench our hearts and heave ho
Don't you know
We took some blows
Our dads
And grandfathers all were hard working working souls
Hard working to the sun up to the midnight oil
They went to work
Played fair and stuff
Some got old
Some found God
But they never gave up
And gave the family car
To sons and daughters with prayers for luck
And we can
Be American make America great again
Go to church and beat the drugs and the devil to dust
And make mom proud
Like a Buddhist does
Make dad smile
Say well done my son
America great again
Make America great again
There's a thing
About this land we live on and freedom's ring
It's a thing from our hearts sent to generations and generations
And the fights we've won
For liberty and a job well done
Helping life
When someone's down and out
That's what it's all about
And we can
Be American make America great again
Go to church and beat the drugs and the devil to dust
And make mom proud
Like a Buddhist does
Make dad smile
Say well done my son
America great again
Make America great again
