Shadows crawl across my chest

Whispers claw where fire should rest

Every heartbeat drags me down

Beneath the weight of a crumbling crown

The walls I built are bleeding stone

A spark ignites, a venomed flare

Rising from despair's cold lair

Eyes like embers, black and red
