Vibrating Verbing Love

Scrolling through life, I'm waiting in the dark

Knowing the truth, but delaying the start

Connecting the dots my mind is my heart

If love is an action, then act the part

I find myself doing nothing for hours on end

I'll wake up early

But remain on the wrong side of the bed

Scrolling down through timelines as if time doesn't end

I see the lies of the life of people labeled as friends

I have my own profile, so I guess, I too can pretend

I've been devoured by media outlets

Every like and retweets are worse than cigarettes

Scrolling through life, I'm waiting in the dark

People are seeking attention

But what am I doing

I'm getting entertained by people lacking in perception

Life is now a front

I'm not good with the word deception

Was told I can be infectious

That I can bring something to the table that's precious

That I shouldn't let people place me in a

Box

But as I sat there I heard only a paradox

I mean

I receive the message like keys getting into locks

But life is about timing and I don't have a clock

But I try to do good so the rest can see

Vibrating Verbing Love is what we need

Love isn't just words, they're actions

They're fractions that play into reactions

Small ripples can reach across shores

They just need to have compassion

I've been compelled to create this poem

In hopes it can be your pebble

To don't conform to this world and remain a rebel
