I've never been so thirsty, the bottle is dry
I can't go get another, I really don't know why
Dressed up to the nines, like I'm headed to a show
But the voice inside my head says there ain't no place to go
Feels like I'm waiting I check my watch again
The hands don't move how will I know when
Or how to do what I need to do
To stand up from this chair and walk out of this room
The temperature's rising, the AC is dead
The light bulb's flickering over my head
The wallpaper's peeling from off of the wall
It feels like my skin is a-starting to crawl
The air's hanging heavy with the strangest of smells
In room number six
At the Diablo Motel
I can't remember checking into this room
Surely, I must've, I have to presume
There's gotta be a reason I'm here in this place
Let me splash some water onto my face
Feels like my forehead is starting to burn
I run to the faucets, but the handles won't turn
Can't loosen my tie I can't catch my breath
I sense something familiar, and it feels just like death
I glance at the picture hanging over the bed
I see devils and demons I can hear em in my head
I try to make a break and run for the door
But if there ever was one, there ain't anymore
I realize now that I'm stuck here in hell
Room number six
The Diablo Motel
