I've been screaming at the sky but it don't talk back

Just silence in the void and the world fades black

They say have faith but I'm losing mine

Been praying for a sign that never shows in time

What kind of God lets the innocent bleed

Lets kids starve while the rich just feed

Is it a test or some kind of sick joke

I read the books, I heard the hymns

But none of that heals what's under my skin

If pain is part of some master plan
