I keep checkin' back, still nothin' there

Every night feel longer than the last one did

Like I'm refreshin' hope but it won't load fair

Everybody else movin' past me fast

Highlight reels while I'm stuck on pause

I'm tryna trust You in the in-between

When the screen stay dark and the signal lost

I don't raise my voice, I keep it cool

Try not to show what I don't know

I ain't angry, just tired of waitin'

Still here, still holdin' on

How long You gon' keep me waiting here

Talking to the dark, are You still near?

How long till You say something I can hold?

How long this road gon' stay rerouted?

GPS say "wait," I'm still right here

Everybody got advice they swear by

But none of it sound clear

I see headlines change every hour

Same story, different face

Feels like truth keep buffering

While I'm stuck watchin' the same frame

I don't need the whole plan laid out

I ain't askin' for control

Just a word I can carry with me

Somethin' solid when I'm alone
