We first met in the first band practice in the summer of 98

At the downtown high school

And I couldn't take my eyes off of you

We spent our high school days writing our own songs

And singing in every pub in our hometown

We were known to everyone downtown

And at our high school, we rocked the high school dance

And won the battle of bands you and me

Started out as just friends

But now you are my wife and you are my number 1
